I have 4 jobs. I have 3 dreams. I have 2 cats. I have 1 boyfriend. This is the basic consistency of my weeks, days and months. I have been working since age 10 and just can't seem to stop. I actually like all the things that I do. When I think forward, I envision keeping all of them in life in some type of capacity. I move fast, I think fast, I live fast, and I eat fast. (not so good, working on it). I do hustle everyday for realz and it has gotten me to great places. My confession... I have been caught up in using my computer, iphone, ipad, laptop, and itouch at all hours of the day, everyday. My electronics have become a staple in my life as a hustler :). I am glad it is January and the typical time people make resolutions because it forced me to look and rethink out my days and how I go about utilizing time spent. I thought..... if my energies are always focused on my electronics, what have i missed? What am I NOT seeing and NOT feeling and NOT experiencing? It has been 17 days so far in January, and WOW, I have discovered that I lost some of that "family table dinner time" that was so important in constructing WHO I am today. The interaction, the connection, the actual talking instead of texting, the debates, the discussions, the smiles and laughters, the arguments and fights, the delicious foods and aromas, and the no telephone/no tv time.
My aha moments these past couple of weeks lead me to figure out HOW i was going to connect my yearly goals together to make my life more satisfactory and complete. I write down my goals every year. I also continue to work on myself every year. These are not resolutions, they are a constant staple in my life. When I was 27, I started becoming the BOSS of me. I continue to work on my communication, my leadership, my happiness, my income, my skills, my health, my generosity, and moving through this world with love. These are the great qualities of a true boss.
IF, I apply my 2 concepts together.. "hustlin' everyday" and "like a boss" what might happen? .................
Tune into my next BLOG to find out!
